CPD EST Classroom Observation Tool

This is a Classroom Observation Tool (COT) for evaluating teacher performance across general practices (lesson facilitation, checks for understanding, feedback, critical thinking, and classroom culture) and subject-specific practices for English, Math, and Science. It uses a 5-point scale for general practices and a 3-point scale for subject-specific practices, with detailed rubrics defining low, medium, and high performance levels for each indicator.

Data Driven Mentoring and Coaching for Multigrade Settings in Punjab

This report evaluates a Punjab pilot programme training 224 AEOs in data-driven mentoring for multigrade classrooms using the MG-COT tool. Treatment schools showed significantly greater teaching practice improvements (1.18 vs. 0.91 points), with ANCOVA confirming a 0.225-point positive impact, demonstrating that strengthening AEO coaching capacity improves multigrade instructional quality.

Supporting MG Classroom Instruction- Training Manual for AEOs - Punjab

This is a training module for Assistant Education Officers (AEOs) on multigrade teaching, covering digital MGT modules, coaching and mentoring fundamentals, the Multigrade Classroom Observation Tool (COT), and actionable feedback techniques. It aims to equip AEOs with skills to observe multigrade classrooms, interpret COT data, and provide structured, evidence-based coaching and mentoring to improve teaching practices.

Strengthening Multigrade Teaching in KP- Intervention Report

This report documents an MGT pilot in KP that trained 1,165 teachers across 400 schools, achieving a 30.1% increase in their understanding of multigrade strategies. It led to improved classroom practices like logical grade combinations and MGT-specific lesson planning.
